Personally, I feel myself like some kind of super model crossing the streets in cool pumps, ripped jeans, plain tee and massive long topper. Yep, that’s what I call sophisticated and precious look. If you are new to this outerwear, then I recommend without a peep to try on a slightly oversized version. What I love the most about long coats is the way they keep us warm. When it comes to coats, every color is perfect. Every shade is versatile and can look retro, modern or classy. You can enjoy brown, nude, camel, light greys and even neutral colors. There are awesome designs that look hobo-chic, wrap-styles versions, belted and draped designs. Personally, I love to mix up things, by wearing a kind of Tomboy meets hobo-chic combo version, by wearing sneakers with jeans, slouchy sweater and massive coat on. Speaking of layers, then you might be interested in trying on chic mini dresses with big scarf and long coat over it. Keep things sexy by adding gorgeous pumps. 1. Well if that’s the trend now, I certainly haven’t seen long coats in the stores. I was lucky to have found and bought one long tailored coat last year. It’s been many years since long woolen coats were back on the market. All I see are bland, bomber duvet filled jackets, coats. Everyone looks the same. I tried but could never feel comfortable nor feminine in those. They were always masculine to me. I remember the days from the 70’s to early 2000’s when shops would have long wool winter coats rack after rack of different colors and styles but towards the latter years they were getting shorter and shorter which was also a disappointment. Those days are gone but would love to see wool coats come back. All I can guess is that it must be more expensive to manufacture wool coats so it’s all about money-making.
I also want to see wide shirt collars/lapels and true jumper dresses back in fashion.
