Sicilian Seduction, Italian style and Hot Rome in on my mind. Today we are going to observe best ideas and tips on how to dress like an Italian woman this year. It’s no secret, Italians take great pride in the way they look, walk, eat and dress. No matter, if they have to go out for just 5 min., or popping out for a pint of milk, they will dress elegant and smartly. Describing Italian women, I have several thoughts in my mind and it’s easygoing sex appeal and bombshell look. One thing I can not understand, how can they look both relaxed and elegant, as I always wondering, if this or that woman just woke up like this, or did it take her several hours preparing for such a sexy look?
Okay, what you need to know about Italiana style, so you can keep everything sexy and elegant? First of all, build your outfit from the very beginning, by choosing one statement piece. No matter what is it, a shirt, skirt, stiletto shoes or statement earrings. Go from this piece by complimenting it with your favorite essentials and building an outfit around it. Sometimes it’s better to go with your instinct only, without any kind of inspiration. Just wear what you like and that’s all. You can either go for a more elegant look or a wild one, everything depends on your personal choice. Remember, invest in quality basics, as you will have them for a long time in your wardrobe. The basics are: black pants, skirts, white shirts, shoes, etc.
A simple look: red dress and black heels:
LBD with spaghetti straps:
Look boho inspired by investing in a white dress. Complete the look by adding eye-catchy accessories and black rounded sunglasses:

Build up your look by investing in simplest things. You just need to know that looking glamorous doesn’t always involve the use of expensive garments. You need something relaxed, comfy and versatile, like LBD, comfy jeans, plain T-shirt, athletic runners and red lipstick, LOL. But do not overdo it, otherwise you will look too much complicated. Keep it easy, fun and cool. The last but not least, don’t wait for special occasions, as each day is special, so you better wear your good stuff in your everyday life. Believe me, saving the best pieces in your wardrobes will only make it look older. So, you better follow these tips and fashion suggestions to look and feel like real Italian woman.
The pic showing the girl in the simple white coat, jeans and blue heels is incredibly gorgeous. I would love to know what sort of coat that is, and where to buy it. Could you please help me?
Agreed! Zara is selling a coat with almost an identical cut in a white nubby texture with gold buttons — each one a slightly different design. It’s just over the equivalent of about $120. I’m heading back there tomorrow to buy one for myself!
Wonderful !
I am proud of Irish and Italian. My dad’s family are Irish English Scotland and my mom’s family is Italian.
I rather enjoyed this refreshing Italian style. I was never exposed to any kind of fashion as a young girl and I have too many Old Navy cheap shirts and ill fitting jeans. I am looking to throw out the old and bring in the new! Loved this Article!
Thank you. This information has answered my questions.
This looks like good advice for the younger females. How about the over 50s? I have been to Italy several times and have never been able to copy their style and would love to.
I agree – would like to hear more about what to wear end of summer for more ‘mature’ women. Looking forward to Italy in 3 weeks!
I too enjoyed the Article and would like to know if there are some for women in their 50’s. I have a wedding to attend in the fall. I’m 5’7 135 lbs. I could use some help ! Thanks !

I live in Italy and if I dressed like this, I would stand out like a sore thumb. But it’s not a bad thing. The style here is more relaxed – jeans, T-shirt and trainers. For the more mature lady, they make this a bit smarter with straight leg jeans or cropped jeans, minimalistic trainers and a blazer. Stilettos are really not a good idea either, with the cobblestone streets, lots of walking everywhere, all the potholes in the roads. I would break my neck for sure! Saying that, I do love some of these looks!
Thanks for the information, Meghan. I agree the looks are gorgeous. Chow, Linda
Gotta love the stiletto heels worn on cobblestone streets. That’s asking for a broken ankle. Now that we’ve seen what’s showing in Italian Vogue circa 2015- what are real Italian women wearing? Also, given the bony chicken legs on most of these girls, where can I send stockings to them?
