I think everyone has a pair of these cool sandals, right? This summer it was hard to go anywhere without seeing at least one pair of these retro looking shoes on someone. Why these styles are so popular? It’s quite simple, they look chunky, original and they are extremely functional. Anyway, if you think you can say bye-bye to them till the next spring, then you are wrong, darling. Yikes…does that mean that you believe curvy ladies should NOT wear Birks? Just wondering.
I am certain Myra was referring to the comment as being derogatory. And it was.
Omg beyond cringy… and pretty gross actually. What does that even mean?? I didn’t know someone’s body type had anything to do with their ability to wear sandals. This article (and especially author) just lost all of my respect.
OK, I like all these looks, but only one seems like acceptable office attire. I need ideas for that. I’m having surgery on my foot and now have instructions from my doctor to wear nothing but Birks. I have them. I wear them with office outfits during summer months…just not sure how to work it all out when cold weather gets here. Sooooooo…I thought I’d ask for more ideas…especially for dresses.
or should I just forget trying to please the office fashion police?
Wow that lady was considered”CURVY”???!!!! Okayyyy wtaf?
I don’t know what dimension the author came from to make that ridiculous comment about curvy women wearing sandals. Clearly the woman would not have been considered curvy and let’s face it; stick skinny women without hair or boobs is a pedophile’s dream.
