We are back on a fashion track and I ma happy to share with you next pre-fall 2018 season best women’s fashion trends that were noticed in designers latest collections. I have noticed 7 main trends, icluding 1970’s touches, military, sports and other modern updates. I think I have already told you that fashion is cyclic, that’s why it’s okay to see new collections which feature details and even entire looks inspired by the 1920, 1950, 1960, 1940’s years. It seems like fashion has nothing else to offer, as we see the same looks from year to year with just little changes in color and shapes. So, it’s funny to see the same ideas in pre-fall seasons.
Here we see stunning creations by Gucci, Chanel, Michael Kors, Christian Dior. Yes, it’s sports baby. It’s already a classic look. What do I like about this trend? It’s comfy, practical and ideal for making fast moves.
We see amazing khaki and green looks from Rebecca Minkoff, Alexander Wang, Altuzarra, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi. You are in the army, baby. If you do like military and those mannish details, then this trend is meant for you. I love those khaki trenches with bright red stripes, shortened blazers and military uniforms basics.
How about wearing Rachel Comey, Chloé, Gucci, Fendi creations this year? If you are in love with wide-leg pants, high-waists, then you better go for 1970’s fashion. You gonna love these trapezoid dresses, flares, denim skirts and bulky sweaters.
Let’s talk about plaids. Here we see cool plaid clothes in Derek Lam, Christian Dior, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi pre-collections. Tartan, flannel and checks appear in so many collection this year. So, you can pair printed trousers, skirts with the same print tops and coats.
Shearling and sheepskin. We see awesome creations made by Burberry Prorsum, Calvin Klein Collection, Proenza Schouler, Chloé. The furs are always in vogue, no matter if designers included it or not. Today we see functional designs made of sheepskin. You gonna love those coats, jackets and vests.
